Special Exhibition: Paula Modersohn-Becker and Edvard Munch - The Big Questions of Life

Paula Modersohn-Becker (1876–1907) and Edvard Munch (1863–1944) were two exceptional figures in 20th-century art. Through their expressive paintings, they found innovative artistic answers to the questions of their time concerning life, from birth to death.

The Albertinum houses works by important international artists from the Romantic period to the present day, thus building a bridge between the past and the future.
